Dear Sarah Palin,

I am not a fifteen year old boy. I am also not a twenty-five year old man, or a forty-year old man, or a sixty-two year old man, or a man of any kind. Please stop winking at me. Please stop using words like “ya” and dropping your g’s and generally behaving like a high school cheerleader cozying up to the captain of the football team.

If you want to be taken seriously, act like a professional. Otherwise, get off the stage. This is an embarrassment to real, dedicated women everywhere.

P.S. Also, if you could please maybe answer the question that is asked at some point, that would be lovely. (See? I can be feminine too.)

    Seriously, it’s obvious she’s a strong woman. I could see it in her eyes when she got mad at Biden. Couldn’t she have dumbed herself down a little less? And why are Republicans so proud of this? She didn’t say anything intelligent. She was uneven. She didn’t answer questions. She just basically plugged her state (poor Alaska!) and acted the fool. They could have at least had the decency to put her in clown make up so that the world could see her for what she really is in this campaign–a farce.

    Sorry for the rant, especially since I’m generally a lurker. Speaking of which, back to lurking. . .

  5. The nucular just reaffirms that Palin is W. with breasts, and, well, we all know how I feel about neocons…

    And Shawna, I’m with you. She didn’t answer a thing, so what is up with the pundits (because I have no hope for the Republicans actually having any perspective on this issue) giving her passing grades on this debate? Just because she did not run screaming from the stage or have a total meltdown on camera does NOT mean she actually did well… just that she did better than expected.
