apropos of anything

I only have five minutes, so here we go:

1. Being one of the millions of voices calling for change. He won the battle, and now it’s time to focus on the war.

2. The grand opening of the new Masjid Al-Farooq tomorrow. If it feels like we’ve been waiting years for this, it’s because we have. I would so love to go to jummah tomorrow, but the crowd and the timing makes it unlikely… but maybe I’ll stop by for ‘asr.

3. Finding the funny. Sometimes, when the door to the room next door simply won’t open, you just have to resign yourself to the worst… and then laugh at it.
