Projecting her insecurities onto others to bring them down, to make them feel bad for all they accomplished. Great writing and great sentiment expressed here. Sometimes biting your tongue can be hard... sometimes its appropriate to say whats on your mind though because sometimes its better to try to fix things that might have a chance at repair.. but it takes a wise person to recognize the difference between what you must accept and what you can at least try to make better. This sounds like a grin and bear it moment.... and though it may have felt good to tell her the thoughts thunk... taking the higher road is an honorable thing to do. She’s wrong.
