Thank the lord God…
…that I went off-call this morning at 11 a.m. because if I had to be one to monitor tomorrow night’s State of the Union address, thereby being forced to suffer through that pompous, arrogant nitwit mugging all over the footage from this week’s Iraq elections, I might have to stab an ice-pick into my sore left calf.
It’s going to be bad enough reading the transcript afterwards. Having to actually watch it live, with no hope of a fast-forward or a pause, could quite possibly constitute cruel and unusual punishment.
