apropos of anything

As someone who once said she didn’t really know much about Ronald Reagan because her class didn’t quite get that far into the history book, I have to admit I don’t feel any personal sense of loss other than what’s to be expected for the death of a president.

Individual politics don’t really have a place at the moment, so regardless of whether I now think he really was The Great Communicator, or if I agree with those who consider his presidency a blight on American history, I hope Ronald Reagan rests in peace.
